The day started with snow and ended with rain but it made zero difference in the fun everyone had!

The First Looks

This one was a bit different! We did the normal first look with John and Jen, which was so sweet. Then we did one with the groomsmen, which was hilarious. Loved it!

The Ceremony

They didn't do many things the traditional way and the ceremony was no exception. They walked each other down the isle! The officiant did a lovely job and John & Jen actually nailed closed a crate containing a bottle of tequila that they will open in their one year anniversary. Different but also super cool.

The Venue

Four Points by Sheraton, Kalamazoo

This place had everything. Rooms specifically for the bride and groom to get ready in, a ceremony room, a ballroom, a serving room for food, pies, and beverages. I was impressed. Plus the guests could just go right up their rooms at the end of the night. No driving after too many spirits :)

The Party Bus

Because as cool as pics at a hotel can be we wanted to go somewhere a little cooler. Onto the bus!

This place is so beautiful! We couldn't go in certain areas and I wasn't allowed to use flash but I think we still got some pretty fun shots.

The Flowers

Ling's Moments

This is an online vendor for faux flowers. I have to say these are not your grandmother silk bouquets. They are beautiful and uhm, very lightweight, which is always a plus for brides.

The Pies!

Grand Travers Pie Co

HOLY YUM. That's all I have to say about that!

The Fun Stuff

John & Jen have an amazing love and it shows. They are two kind souls, I am thrilled to have shared their day with them!
